I specialize in meticulous copyediting and strive to cover the “five Cs” of editing to make your copy clear, correct, concise, comprehensible, and consistent. Copyediting generally covers spelling, punctuation, grammar, terminology and jargon, time lines, and semantics; however, I will work with you to decide what you and your manuscript needs. Light, medium, or heavy edits will be applied depending on your needs. I can use Chicago Manual of Style, Associated Press Stylebook, another style guide of your choice, or a publisher’s house style. When editing fiction, I am skilled at using a light hand to let the author’s voice reign.
